Founder & SLP
Elena Fader Hurlburt is the founder of Village Voices Speech Therapy and Assistive Technology Services, a community-focused private practice based in Connecticut. Since she was first introduced to the field of speech-language pathology (SLP) in high school, Elena’s career path has consistently complemented her love of language and writing, her understanding of the true power of communication, and her natural compassion towards others.
Now, as an SLP with over a decade of leadership, clinical, and publication experiences within the field of assistive technology, Elena finds true joy in supporting people with communication differences in achieving their own, personally meaningful goals. She is in her element when she teaches and spreads awareness about the power that augmentative and alternative communication has for enhancing a person’s participation in our world.
