Tricia Gibney

Tricia has dedicated 38 years of service to The Arc of Southington, embodying a lifelong commitment to advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Tricia began her journey with the organization in 1987 as a Direct Support Professional. Over the years, she has held numerous roles, demonstrating unwavering dedication and leadership, including serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In 2019, Tricia was appointed Chief Executive Officer, where she continues to lead The Arc of Southington with passion, vision, and a deep respect for the people the agency supports. She firmly believes that every individual with IDD deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and should have access to the same opportunities as everyone else.
